Goldberg Century Movie reel End Table lamp, Movie Memorabilia
$1,500.00
Details
Upcycled from the art Deco Cinema era. A Century film reel canister as the base. These were in movie houses in the 1920's - 1940's and we're planned on the projector 2 and 3 at a time.
They only held a 2000' reel which was about 20 min of run time. So there had to be another reel on the ready to perform a seamless transition during the film.
They have a glass window to see the film lever so the projectionist could start the next reel on time.
This 18" canister acts as a perfect base for the table which houses a 14" aluminum Goldberg Bros Movie reel for the table top with 4 "Drink holders" or popcorn holders for the right sized cup or an optional 16" round glass topper for more versatile needs.
Just add our art deco theater seats these are custom made to order and are completely sand blasted and electrostatically powder coated for an extremely durable, life time finish much like porcelain enamel. They also accompany the Heywood Wakefield art Deco theater seats very nicely.
The table in the photo is done in chrome powder coating NOT TRIPLE DIPPED CHROME but a VERY similar visual effect and in fact more durable as it won't rust.
These are very limited edition, and once the reels are gone, so are the tables.
