Large 9' 2" (110") x 6' 7" (79") Asian Screen of significant artistic beauty.
Two sided depicting spring blooms with a narration imprinted on either side. Loosely translated "Blooming Rich" "Keep wealth in mind and make spring" on one side and the other "Good announcement" or "good news"
on the other with the artist name and date 1988.
The screen slides into two hand carved Stantions on either side which mount to a robust base making it stable and free standing.
It can be disassembled into 4 seperate pieces making it maneuverable with two people.
The carving is exceptional depicting Dragons, peacocks and horse drawn rickshaws with exceptional detail.
The artwork is painted on brushed bronze metal.
