Solid hand forged brass. Not a thin " hammered" or rolled contemporary version.
This Kadhai is very thick, approx 7mm, Very solid approx 40 lb. Beautiful rustic patina, large 30" diameter makes a bold statement.
Possibly of peruvian origin. Possibly for roasting coffee but likely meant for some type of open fire roasting or cooking
